Eric & Whitney – {Macon, Missouri Wedding Photography} September 14, 2009

What a pleasure it was for me to work alongside Tabitha Thompson several weeks ago. I’ve been dying to shoot a wedding and this was my first opportunity to do so. Along with Tabitha and her assistant photographer, Jamee, I had the privilege of taking part in Eric & Whitney’s wedding. And what a privilege it was!! Eric and Whitney were an amazingly (is that a word?) fun couple, and totally comfortable in front of the camera. They had an awesome wedding party too-showing lots of personality throughout the entire day.

During the reception, Eric surprised Whitney with a performance of “Grow Old With You” by Adam Sandler. There was a choreographed Thriller performance by the wedding party and a few friends. And a choreographed garter toss! Seriously, so much fun!

But the thing that really stuck out to me was the recurring phrase “they’re meant for each other.” Several of their friends and family stood up to give a small speech and I think every one of them mentioned how perfect Eric and Whitney are for one another. I could absolutely see the love in their eyes and the joy they were feeling of being husband and wife.

Eric & Whitney: Thank you so much for allowing me to tag along!
